Hsinchu, Taiwan / Son, The Netherlands – September 20, 2012 – PROMISE Technology, Inc., a leader in providing high-performance RAID storage solutions, today announced that it will be showcasing its complete line of cutting edge solutions designed for video surveillance at Security Essen 2012 (Stand 433, Hall 2) from September 25-28, 2012.

Highlights of the PROMISE demonstrations at Security Essen include the Vess A-Class NVR storage appliance showcased with best-in-class video management software (VMS) from industry leaders Milestone Systems, AxxonSoft and CamIQ. The Vess A-Class storage appliance is a revolutionary solution designed for video surveillance installations of 64 to several hundred full-HD IP cameras, making it perfect for offices, factories, banks, casinos, and museums. Users no longer need an extra PC/server, add-on cards, or a separate connected storage for a complete video surveillance solution; the Vess A-Class covers the entire workload. The Vess A-Class will be available worldwide starting in November 2012.

PROMISE will also showcase the new Vess R2000 storage systems, a brilliantly designed solution that is optimized for surveillance applications where downtime is unacceptable and where large external storage capacity, support for on-demand expansion, long retention periods, and reliable high bandwidth throughput are a must. The Vess R2000 is now available through the PROMISE global network of distributors and value added resellers.

In addition to their own stand, PROMISE’s innovative VessRAID storage solution will be showcased as a part of the demonstrations led by industry leading VMS provider AxxonSoft.

“PROMISE has become a leader and pioneer in the video surveillance industry by developing tailor made solutions for challenges the video surveillance customers are facing today,” said John van den Elzen, Managing Director of PROMISE EMEA. “Whether it is for small, midsize, or large scale applications, PROMISE enables customers to deploy proven solutions that deliver impressive performance and reliability in a cost-effective way. Security Essen 2012 gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate how PROMISE’s solutions can safeguard what really matters to video surveillance users.”
