PROMISE Technology Leveraged Computex 2013 to Demonstrate Commitment to Solutions Strategy.

HSINCHU, Taiwan – June 13, 2013 - PROMISE Technology, Inc. demonstrated its commitment to delivering customer-centric solutions at Computex 2013, the world’s second largest ICT show, by showcasing its new all-in-one storage appliances in addition to hosting seminars on the most important trends in the industry. Featuring seminars led by heavyweights Jason Ziller, Intel’s Director of Thunderbolt Planning and Marketing, Atsushi Iida, Sony’s Senior Marketing Manager, and Eric Chen, CEO of ProphetStor Data Services, PROMISE presented packed audiences with a rare chance to gain valuable insight from experts in the cloud/IT, rich media, and video surveillance markets.

Computex 2013 saw over 130,000 people attend the event, including almost 40,000 international visitors. Attendees of the five day event saw the debut of PROMISE’s new cloud appliance, FileCruiser, a groundbreaking all-in-one appliance that enables businesses to easily build their own private cloud. Additionally, the new VTrak A-Class shared SAN storage appliance and the Vess A2000 Series NVR storage appliance for IP video surveillance were showcased in interactive, hands-on demonstrations. PROMISE’s industry leading storage solutions were demonstrated by industry leaders at Computex 2013, including the Pegasus Thunderbolt Series at Intel’s product display and the Vess R2000 Series at Western Digital’s display. The Vess R2000 Series, winner of the Computex Best Choice Golden Award as the top storage solution of the event, was also featured at the Computex Best Choice Pavilion.
