Innovative FileCruiser Addresses Rapidly Expanding Data Storage Needs of Businesses and Organizations.

HSINCHU, Taiwan and TOKYO, Japan, May 14, 2014 -Today at the Cloud Computing Expo Japan, PROMISE Technology Inc., a recognized global leader in the storage industry, announced the Japanese launch of its new cloud storage solution: FileCruiser. The new FileCruiser enables businesses and organizations to create their own scalable private cloud storage service. An exclusive FileCruiser launch event will be hosted by James Lee, CEO of PROMISE Technology, on May 14 from 15:30-16:30 during the Expo at the Tokyo Big Sight seminar area. Additionally, attendees can learn more about FileCruiser and PROMISE’s full range of cloud and IT storage solutions by visiting booth #East 2-23 at the Tokyo Big Sight during the Expo.

FileCruiser includes Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing (EFSS) features and a hardware platform ideal for a wide range of vertical markets, including education, healthcare, SMB and enterprise IT, governments and more. In addition to FileCruiser, PROMISE’s display at Cloud Computing Expo Japan will feature a range of cloud solutions from IaaS to SaaS - including new, high-density 4U 70-bay and 1U 16-bay storage solutions. Later this year, PROMISE will expand its lineup of high-density storage offerings to include a new family of object storage solutions, designed to provide optimal TCO (total cost of ownership) and seamless migration to the next generation of data storage. The new object storage solutions will offer nearly limitless scalability and will be optimized for vertical solutions.

Availability

PROMISE’s FileCruiser is currently available in Taiwan and select APAC countries, and will be available in Japan starting in Q3 through the PROMISE global network of distributors and value added resellers.
