HSINCHU, Taiwan, and SON, Netherlands - November 4, 2014 - As one of the world's largest media corporations, the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) has the highest levels of standards for the storage platform in its broadcast environment. For years, VGTRK has relied on storage solutions from PROMISE Technology and when the company was looking to upgrade its broadcast environment, they once again turned to PROMISE and the VTrak x30 Series.

As VGTRK continued to grow its reach in Russia and around the world with its international programming, they required more storage and wanted to expand their existing PROMISE solution. Consistent high-performance, stability, ease of use, and qualification by Apple were critical elements VGTRK requires in its storage solutions. VTrak, a high-performance storage subsystem which has been deployed by most of the world’s largest media corporations, post production companies and broadcasters, delivers for VGTRK on all fronts.

The VTrak x30 Series is the only Fibre Channel storage product qualified by Apple for use on OS X and XSAN, which is very important since VGTRK prefers non-linear editing (NLE) systems from Apple. VTrak has proven to be very easy to set up, manage and maintain and consistently provides very low failure rates and excellent throughput so content can be shared more efficiently.
