Pegasus2 R2+ Recognized for its Exceptional Versatility and Speed

LAS VEGAS, April 16, 2015 - PROMISE Technology, a recognized global leader in the storage industry, today announced that its Pegasus2 R2+ has been named the Best Storage Device at the 2015 NAB Show by Videomaker. Pegasus2 R2+ is a Thunderbolt 2 hardware RAID 0/1 storage solution with USB 3.0 that includes two hot-swappable hard disk drives and a media bay with an optional HDD Pod, SSD Reader Pod, and CF/SD Reader Pod for convenient data exchange. Pegasus2 R2+ was named the top storage solution for its exceptional versatility and speed.

Pegasus2 R2+ provides ultimate transferability with a Thunderbolt media station with 6 terabytes of RAID 0/1 configurable storage on 2 hot-swappable HDDs and a USB 3.0 port. The Pegasus2 R2+ features a media bay and Pods for convenient media exchange. It ships with a CF/SD Reader Pod and provides users with the convenience to select an optional 1TB HDD Pod or SSD Reader Pod. The Pegasus2 R2+ Pods come with USB 3.0 Micro-B for independent access, which provides users with the flexibility to leave their editing station and grab a Pod to work elsewhere. Pegasus2 R2+ will be available starting in Q2 through the PROMISE global network of distributors and value added resellers.
