PROMISE Vess A2210 NVRs and Milestone XProtect VMS Offer Proven Interoperability, Optimized Performance and Quality

HSINCHU, Taiwan, and SON, The Netherlands - June 23, 2015 - Vos Logistics is an independent European logistics service provider, delivering a wide range of transport and customer specific logistics services. Facing more strict security requirements and the need to protect the millions of dollars of assets it stores every day, Vos Logistics wanted to deploy an IP video surveillance solution that streamlines configuration and management, is easy to use, and delivers consistent throughput and reliable data protection. PROMISE Vess A2000 Series NVR Appliances, Milestone XProtect Video Management Software (VMS) and cameras from Axis Communications proved to be the answer.

Vess A2000 NVR storage appliances and Vess R2000 external storage solutions are specifically designed for the challenges customers face in surveillance environments and can scale to meet long-term data retention requirements. Vos Logistics deployed Vess A2210 NVR storage appliances which are optimized for video surveillance recording, playback, live view and archive I/O access with incredibly steady and reliable behavior that limits dropped frames. The video captured from the Axis megapixel cameras at the warehouses is recorded and stored on a large-scale centralized storage infrastructure.

Vos Logistics' new surveillance solution has delivered countless benefits, including seamless interoperability. The Vess A2000 Series is certified by Milestone for XProtect VMS as it was verified to not only offer an optimized user experience, but it delivered over four times the performance required for certification. The Vess and XProtect architecture is highly scalable and could support any size system, which means Vos Logistics can easily add more capacity with Vess R2000 external storage when they need more warehousing space. Additionally, since the NVR appliance and external storage are both developed by PROMISE, it is a very simple and smooth process for Vos Logistics to grow their solution along with their security needs.
