Helps Businesses Overcome Data Management Challenges in the Cloud Era

HSINCHU, Taiwan, October 27, 2015– PROMISE Technology Inc., a recognized global leader in the storage industry, today announced that it will be highlighting its portfolio of cloud solutions at the Cloud Expo Asia 2015 in Singapore, from Oct. 28-29 (booth O25). In addition to demonstrating its VSky A-Series scale-out storage solutions and FileCruiser2.0 Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing (EFSS) solution, PROMISE’s Ken Dai will be giving a presentation titled, ‘New Enterprise Cloud Architecture based on a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure’ on Oct. 28 12:10-12:35 p.m. at the Virtualisation, Infrastructure, Storage & Software Defined Data Center and Networks Theatre.

As much as 90 percent of the world’s data has been created in the last two years, and this has led to massive challenges for IT administrators who must now move from thinking on a terabyte scale to thinking on a petabyte scale. Additionally, an increasingly mobile workforce is demanding better connection, communication and collaboration – leading many businesses to look to the cloud.

Any application running on this infrastructure can allocate resources (computing/networking/storage) and usage based on a ‘software-defined’ approach.

At Cloud Expo Asia 2015, PROMISE will showcase its complete lineup of cloud storage solutions:

• VSky A-Series: a unified storage appliance architecture that supports Object, Block (iSCSI) and File (NAS). VSky A-Series is an ideal backup/archive solution that can scale out to petabytes.
• FileCruiser 2.0: an EFSS solution that allows businesses to build a secure, scalable private cloud storage service. When paired with the VSky A-Series, FileCruiser allows businesses to build their private cloud out to a massive scale.
